Scope

This part of GB/T 19042 is applicable to the relevant components of CT scanning devices that affect image quality, patient dose, and positioning. This part —defines the main parameters related to describing the image quality, patient dose, and positioning of CT scanning devices; the list of parameters requiring testing is provided in 4.4; —defines the testing methods for these main parameters; —evaluates whether these parameters comply with the error ranges specified in the randomized documents. These methods primarily rely on non-invasive measurements using appropriate testing equipment during or after installation. A signed description of the installation procedures can be used as part of the acceptance test report. The purpose of this part of GB/T 19042 is to assist in conducting acceptance tests on CT scanning devices. The aim is to verify whether the image quality, patient dose, and positioning are affected after installation in accordance with the specifications. This part does not consider: —aspects of mechanical and electrical safety; —aspects of mechanical, electrical, and software performance, unless they are necessary for conducting acceptance tests and directly affect imaging quality, patient dose, and positioning.
