GB/T 34500.5-2017 Chemical analysis methods for rare earth residue and waste water—Part 5:Determination of ammonia nitrogen content
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 34500 specifies the determination method for the ammonia nitrogen content (calculated as nitrogen) in leachate and wastewater from mining, mineral processing, and smelting.
This part is applicable to the determination of ammonia nitrogen content (calculated as nitrogen) in leachate and wastewater from mining, mineral processing, and smelting. It includes three analytical methods. Method 1 is the Nessler's reagent spectrophotometry, Method 2 is the salicylic acid spectrophotometry, and Method 3 is the distillation and neutralization titration method. The determination range of Method 1 is 0.5 mg/L~900.0 mg/L; the determination range of Method 2 is 1.00 mg/L~200.00 mg/L; and the determination range of Method 3 is 100 mg/L~60,000 mg/L.
