Scope

This standard specifies the documents that the purchaser (hereinafter referred to as the buyer) should prepare and provide to the crane manufacturer (hereinafter referred to as the supplier) when ordering a port crane (hereinafter referred to as the crane), as well as the content and format of the documents that the supplier should submit during the delivery and acceptance of the crane.
This standard is applicable to the supply and demand sides of shore-based container cranes, bridge grab discharge cranes, tire-type container gantry cranes, and port portal cranes. Other port cranes can also refer to and implement it accordingly.
