GB/T 24635.4-2020 Geometrical product specifications (GPS)—Coordinate measuring machines (CMM):Technique for determining the uncertainty of measurement—Part 4:Evaluating task-specific measurement uncertainty using simulation
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 24635 provides information on simulation techniques for evaluating the measurement uncertainty of specific tasks, and stipulates the requirements for manufacturers and users when using uncertainty evaluation software (UES) based on simulation techniques for coordinate measuring machine measurements.
Appendix A of this part provides a checklist: Declaration of influencing factors; Elements of uncertainty evaluation software (UES) are referred to in Appendix B.
In addition, this part also describes the testing methods of such simulation software and the advantages and disadvantages of various testing methods, see Appendix C.
Finally, by simulating specific measurement tasks performed on coordinate measuring machines and combining measurement devices, environments, measurement strategies, and measurement objects, the testing procedures for various specific task uncertainties are described, see Appendices D, E, F, and G. This part describes the general procedures, but does not limit the possibilities of technical implementation, including guidelines for the verification and evaluation of simulation packages.
The purpose of this part is not to define new parameters for evaluating the measurement accuracy of coordinate measuring machines.
This part is applicable to the use of simulation techniques to evaluate the measurement uncertainty of specific tasks when using coordinate measuring machines.
