Scope

This document specifies the product classification and grade designation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and accompanying documents and order forms for copper-based coated composite powders. This document is applicable to composite powders that are coated with copper and copper alloy materials on iron powder particles using chemical immersion plating and sintering diffusion methods, and are mainly used in the manufacturing of diamond tools, oil-lubricated bearings, powder metallurgy structural parts, brake pads, and graphite products.
