Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and quality certificates, anti-rust measures, packaging, and storage requirements for heat-resistant cast iron parts.
This standard applies to heat-resistant cast iron parts that are cast in sand molds or molds with thermal conductivity similar to sand molds, and operate at temperatures below 1,100 °C.
