Scope

This standard specifies the indicators for seedling pit construction, seedling storage, and seedling removal for afforestation.
This standard is suitable for areas in northern China with relatively arid and cold climates, and also with irrigation conditions from diversion channels. It is particularly applicable to regions where the natural sprouting of afforestation seedlings and the irrigation timing are not synchronized, which easily leads to physiological drought of afforestation seedlings. The aim is to improve the survival rate of afforestation in such areas.
