Scope
This part of GB 20800 specifies the safety requirements and/or safety measures for reciprocating compression-ignition internal combustion engines (hereinafter referred to as internal combustion engines) of Class II, Grade 2D, and Grade 3D for use in flammable dust environments, aiming to eliminate or limit various potential hazards and risks of reciprocating internal combustion engines. This part applies to the explosion-proof structural design, manufacturing, and inspection of internal combustion engines[1].
