Scope
This standard specifies three test methods for evaluating the wind uplift resistance of single-layer membrane roofing systems: the simulated wind uplift tensile test method, the static positive or negative pressure wind uplift test method, and the dynamic negative pressure wind uplift test method.
This standard is applicable to single-layer membrane roofing systems installed using mechanical fastening or full-bonding construction methods.
