Scope

This document specifies the basic safety requirements for pre-installed application software on mobile intelligent terminals.
This document is applicable to the design, development, production, and testing of mobile intelligent terminals, as well as to the supervision, management, and evaluation of mobile intelligent terminals by competent regulatory authorities and third-party assessment agencies.
This document is not applicable to data terminals intended for specific industries and applications, such as industrial terminals and vehicle-mounted terminals, nor to smart terminal products that are not connected to public mobile communication networks.
Note: In this document, mobile intelligent terminals primarily refer to handheld mobile intelligent terminal products, mainly smartphones that are connected to public mobile communication networks.
