Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, symbols, tolerances, marking, and test methods for surface defects of optical parts. This standard applies to the transmission and reflection surfaces of optical parts with a surface roughness Rz≤0.1 μm after polishing, edge grinding, injection molding, coating, and other processing. The transmission and reflection surfaces of optical parts after processing such as engraving, bonding, and coating can also be referenced for implementation.
