GB/T 35358.1-2017 Inlet air cleaning equipment for vehicle engines and compressors—Part 1:Fractional efficiency testing with fine particles(0.3 μm to 5 μm optical diameter)
Basic Information
Scope
The test methods specified in this part of GB/T 35358 are used to test the performance of engine air filtration devices by employing dust particles with an optical diameter of 0.3 μm to 5 μm. The performance tests in this part include, but are not limited to: airflow resistance or pressure loss, initial classification efficiency, and incremental classification efficiency during the dust loading test process. The purpose of this part is to establish and stipulate unified test procedures, test conditions, test equipment, and performance reports, so as to enable the comparison of the filtration performance of air filters and air filter elements used in the intake system. When conducting consistency evaluations of air filters and air filter elements on laboratory test benches, this part provides detailed explanations of the test equipment, test procedures, and test report formats.
