Scope
This standard specifies the emission limits of water pollutants and the monitoring and implementation requirements for rural domestic wastewater treatment facilities. This standard applies to the management of water pollutant emissions from rural domestic wastewater treatment facilities with a designed capacity of 50 m3/d (including 50 m3/d) to 500 m3/d (including 500 m3/d) located outside the built-up areas of towns. Where rural domestic wastewater is discharged into urban sewerage networks (with wastewater treatment facilities at the end of the network), the "Water Quality Standards for Wastewater Discharged into Urban Sewerage Networks" (GB/T 31962) shall be implemented. This standard applies to pollutant discharge behaviors permitted by law.
