Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, marking, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, and packaging marks for reeled silk twists.
This standard is applicable to the quality assessment of reeled silk twists with a nominal fineness of 49 den (54.4 dtex) or less, made from raw silk with 2,000 twists per meter or less and 9 or fewer strands.
