Scope

This standard is one of a series of standards on the sampling and testing of color paints, varnishes, and related products. This standard specifies the procedures for the initial inspection of a single sample received for testing, as well as the procedures for preparing samples by mixing and reducing a series of representative samples from a batch or large quantity of color paints, varnishes, or related products delivered. The samples of the products to be tested have been obtained in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 3186.
