Scope
This standard replaces the iron, manganese, copper, zinc, arsenic, cadmium, chromium (VI), lead, and silver in the second part of GB/T 5750-1985. The main changes of this standard compared with GB/T 5750-1985 are as follows: — The structure was adjusted according to GB/T 1.1-2000 "Guidelines for Standardization Work - Part 1: Structure and Writing Rules for Standards" and GB/T 20001.4-2001 "Rules for Standard Writing - Part 4: Chemical Analysis Methods"; — The quantity and units of measurement were modified according to the requirements of national standards; — The equivalent concentration was changed to molar concentration (equivalent concentration is still retained in the redox part); — The symbol for mass concentration was changed from C to ρ, and the symbol for content was changed from M to m; — 43 test methods for 15 indicators including aluminum, selenium, mercury, molybdenum, cobalt, nickel, barium, titanium, vanadium, antimony, beryllium, thallium, sodium, tin, and tetraethyl lead were added; — The test method for arsenic was revised.
