Scope
This standard specifies the purge trap/gas chromatography-cold atomic fluorescence spectrometry method for the determination of methylmercury and ethylmercury in soil and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of methylmercury and ethylmercury in soil and sediments. When the sampling amount is 0.5 g and the extraction solution volume is 30 ml, the method detection limits for methylmercury and ethylmercury are both 0.2 μg/kg, and the determination lower limits are both 0.8 μg/kg.
