Scope

This regulation applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of optical wavelength meters for telecommunications (hereinafter referred to as "optical wavelength meters"). The requirements for relevant metrological performance in the type-approval and prototype testing of optical wavelength meters can be implemented in accordance with this regulation.
