Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the residual amounts of chloramphenicol, sulfadiazine, and florfenicol in the edible animal muscles, livers, fish, and shrimp by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of the residual amounts of chloramphenicol, sulfadiazine, and florfenicol in the edible animal muscles, livers, fish, and shrimp. The detection limits of this standard method are: 0.1 μg/kg for chloramphenicol, and 1.0 μg/kg for sulfadiazine and florfenicol.
