Scope

This standard specifies the basic content and technical requirements for the post setting, daily feeding and management, and feeding management during special physiological development stages of captive musk deer (Moschus sp., commonly known as sambar, roe deer, or musk deer, listed in Appendix II of the CITES organization and protected as first-level national animals) in captivity, as well as requirements for reproduction, hygiene and epidemic prevention, waste disposal, identification management, and the establishment of relevant rules and regulations. This standard applies to the feeding and management of captive musk deer farms in Sichuan Province.
