Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations, dimensions, shapes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of cold-rolled steel strips for saw blades. This standard applies to cold-rolled steel strips made from carbon-alloy structural steel and carbon tool steel, with a thickness of 0.4mm to 2.0mm and a width of 13mm to 180mm, used in the manufacture of band saws for woodworking and other saw blades.
