Scope
This standard specifies the principles, reagents, experimental devices, samples, experimental conditions and procedures for determining the amount of chromium on the surface of electroplated tin plates by colorimetry and electrolysis, as well as the calculation of experimental results and the preparation of experimental reports.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the amount of chromium on the surface of electroplated tin plates. Colorimetry is used as the arbitration method. Electrolysis is recommended as a rapid determination method for determining the amount of chromium on the surface of electroplated tin plates that is not less than 2 mg/m2.
