Scope
This standard specifies the general principles for sampling and sample preparation of all types of ferroalloys.
The methods specified in this standard are applicable to sampling batches of bulk and packaged deliveries during loading or unloading, as well as to sampling batches of static piled deliveries.
This standard prescribes two sampling methods: manual and mechanical.
This standard is used in conjunction with the relevant standards for various types of ferroalloys.
