Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, design, factory testing, type testing, determination of the discharge performance of safety valves, determination of the size of safety valves, and marking and lead sealing of safety valves. This standard applies to safety valves with a flow channel diameter of not less than 4 mm and a set pressure of not less than 0.1 MPa.
