Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods for power consumption in standby mode and other low-power modes (shut-down mode and network mode) of household appliances. This standard applies to single-phase products with a rated input voltage or voltage range of 100 V to 250 V, and other products with a rated voltage or voltage range of 130 V to 480 V. The purpose of this standard is to provide a test method for product power consumption in low-power mode (see 34). The so-called "low-power mode" generally refers to the mode in which the product is not activated (that is, the main function of the product is not turned on).
