Scope

In order to ensure the safe operation of bridge cranes, protect the lives and property of the people, and promote economic development, these regulations are formulated in accordance with the "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment", "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Lifting Machinery", and other relevant provisions. These regulations apply to the design, manufacture, installation, modification, maintenance, use, and inspection and testing of bridge cranes (hereinafter referred to as "cranes") within the scope specified in the "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment". The cranes covered by these regulations include general bridge cranes, power station bridge cranes, explosion-proof bridge cranes, insulated bridge cranes, metallurgical bridge cranes, bridge erectors, electric single-beam cranes, electric single-beam suspension cranes, electric hoist bridge cranes, and explosion-proof beam cranes, etc. These regulations stipulate the safety technical requirements for cranes. 91, HG/T 2458, Food Hygiene Law of the People's Republic of China (1995)
