Scope
In order to standardize the use and management of lifting machinery and prevent and reduce accidents, these rules are formulated in accordance with the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment" and the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Lifting Machinery". These rules apply to the use and management of lifting machinery within the scope specified in the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment". The units using lifting machinery shall ensure the safe use of lifting machinery in accordance with the requirements of these rules. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China is responsible for the safety supervision of the use of lifting machinery throughout the country, and the local quality and technical supervision departments at or above the county level are responsible for the safety supervision of the use of lifting machinery within their administrative areas.
