Scope

This standard specifies the maximum surface resistance of conveyor belts and the test methods.
This standard is designed to ensure that conveyor belts have sufficient conductivity and to prevent the accumulation of static electricity during use.
This standard applies to conveyor belts other than the light conveyor belts specified in GB/T 39825[3]. For the determination of the static electricity performance of light conveyor belts, see GB/T 33204[2].
