Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyester gold and silver threads (hereinafter referred to as "gold and silver threads").
This standard applies to polyester gold and silver threads made from polyester film, which are vacuum-metal plated with a protective resin layer, then cut and finely longitudinally sliced into flat rectangular cross-sections, and finally processed by combining them with other yarns.
