Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the tensile properties of chemical filaments such as polyester (polyester), polyamide (nylon), polypropylene (polypropylene), and cellulose fibers. This standard is applicable to chemical fiber filaments (pre-oriented filaments, drawn filaments, deformed filaments, etc.). Chemical fiber filaments extracted from fabrics can be used for reference. This standard is not applicable to filaments with an elongation rate of more than 0.5% when the tension increases from 0.05 cN/dtex to 0.1 cN/dtex.
