Scope

This standard specifies the classification of environmental impact assessments for uranium mining and processing facilities, the content and evaluation procedures of various types of environmental impact assessments, and the preparation requirements for various types of environmental impact assessment reports.
This standard applies to all radiation environmental impact assessments of uranium mining and processing facilities during their construction, production and operation, and decommissioning and remediation.
For other mines with associated radioactive minerals and industrial sites processing radioactive minerals, where the content of radioactive substances exceeds the limits stipulated in relevant standards, their radiation environmental impact assessment work may also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
