Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for personnel, equipment, systems, and operational procedures in surface-supplied mixed gas diving using helium-oxygen mixtures as the breathing medium.
This standard applies to helium-oxygen mixed gas diving at depths of no more than 120 m, as well as to simulated diving in helium-oxygen mixtures at pressures of no more than 1.2 MPa.
