Scope

This standard specifies the basic principles and methods for estimating the doses of external radiation-induced chronic radiation sickness.
This standard is applicable to the estimation of radiation doses received by medical diagnostic X-ray workers, as well as the physical dose estimation of patients with external radiation-induced chronic radiation sickness and individuals awaiting diagnosis (hereinafter collectively referred to as "personnel"), and is also applicable to the dose estimation for determining the cause of radiation sickness in patients with radioactive tumors.
