Scope
These rules apply to welders engaged in the welding operations of boilers, pressure vessels (including gas cylinders, hereinafter the same), pressure pipelines (hereinafter collectively referred to as pressure-bearing equipment) and elevators, lifting machinery, passenger ropeways, large-scale amusement facilities, and special motor vehicles within sites (factories) (hereinafter collectively referred to as mechanical and electrical equipment), as stipulated in the "Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment".
