Scope

This rule stipulates the non-destructive testing methods within the scope of the assessment, including radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT), acoustic emission testing (AE), eddy current testing (ECT), and magnetic leakage testing (MLF). The levels of non-destructive testing personnel are divided into Level I (junior), Level II (intermediate), and Level III (senior). Among the non-destructive testing methods, the automatic detection (AUTO) item is divided into Level I (junior) and Level II (intermediate). The division of various non-destructive testing methods, items, and levels (hereinafter referred to as "items") is shown in Annex A.
