Scope

This standard specifies the methods for high-performance liquid chromatography and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry determination of barbiturates, phenobarbital, isovaleric barbiturate, and scopolamine in feed.
This standard is applicable to the determination of four barbiturate drugs in compound feed, concentrated feed, and premixed feed additives. The quantitative limit of the high-performance liquid chromatography method is 1 mg/kg, and that of the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method is 0.05 mg/kg.
