This guidance technical document is a technical explanation of ISO 6976:2016, "Natural Gas - Calculation of Heating Value, Density, Relative Density, and Wobbe Index by Composition". ISO 6976:2016 does not require the use of this guidance technical document when applied to the calculation of daily physical properties parameters.
Each chapter in this guidance technical document corresponds to the relevant calculation methods in ISO 6976:2016. The content of each chapter is complete and independent.
