Scope

This specification applies to the design of masonry structures in construction projects. In special circumstances or when there are special requirements, the design shall be carried out in accordance with specific provisions: 1. Brick masonry: including unreinforced and reinforced masonry of sintered ordinary bricks, sintered porous bricks, autoclaved sand-cement ordinary bricks, autoclaved fly ash ordinary bricks, concrete ordinary bricks, and concrete porous bricks; 2. Block masonry: including unreinforced and reinforced masonry of concrete blocks and lightweight aggregate concrete blocks; 3. Stone masonry: including masonry of various dressed stones and rough stones.
