Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements, test methods, and reliability assessment for the functional reliability testing of tool libraries and automatic exchange devices (hereinafter referred to as tool libraries). This standard is applicable to the reliability determination and conformity testing of disk-type tool libraries and chain-type tool libraries with automatic exchange devices used in machining centers. Other machine tool tool libraries and tool libraries of other types can also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
