Scope

This part of GB/T 23568 specifies the failure determination criteria, sampling principles, test methods, data processing, and general requirements for reliability assessment of machine tool functional components.
This part is applicable to the reliability assessment of machine tool functional components such as ball screw assemblies, rolling linear guide assemblies, mechanical spindle units, electric spindles, tool libraries and automatic tool exchange devices, CNC turret tool holders, CNC rotary tables, chip removal devices, protective devices, etc. (hereinafter referred to as functional components).
Various functional component products can supplement and prepare corresponding reliability assessment methods and requirements according to the principles of this part.
Other functional component products can refer to and implement it accordingly.
