Scope

This standard applies to the design of industrial, civil, and regional boiler rooms and their outdoor heat pipes within the following scope: 1. Steam boiler rooms using water as the medium, with a rated evaporation capacity of 1 t/h to 75 t/h per boiler, a rated outlet steam pressure of 0.10 MPa (gauge) to 3.82 MPa (gauge), and a rated outlet steam temperature of less than or equal to 450℃; 2. Hot water boiler rooms, with a rated thermal power of 0.7 MW to 174 MW per boiler, a rated outlet water pressure of 0.10 MPa (gauge) to 2.50 MPa (gauge), and a rated outlet water temperature of less than or equal to 180℃; 3. Outdoor steam pipes, condensate water pipes, and closed-loop hot water systems that meet the parameters specified in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this article. This standard does not apply to the design of boiler rooms for waste heat boilers, waste incineration boilers, and other special types of boilers, nor to the design of urban heating networks.
