Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, and test methods for medical endoscopic camera systems. This standard applies to medical endoscopic camera systems (hereinafter referred to as camera systems) used as endoscopic function supply devices during endoscopic examinations and surgeries. This standard does not apply to camera systems with special spectral effects and non-visible spectrum imaging.
