GB/T 17470-2007 Glass fiber mats—Chopped strand and continuous filament mats

Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations, product specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of glass fiber chopped strand mats and continuous strand mats (hereinafter referred to as "mats"). This standard applies to glass fiber chopped strand mats (hereinafter referred to as "chopped mats") and glass fiber continuous strand mats (hereinafter referred to as "continuous mats") used in reinforced plastics and reinforced cementitious materials. For glass fiber continuous single-strand mats and glass fiber needle-punched mats, this standard can also be referenced for application. This standard does not apply to glass fiber stitch-bonded mats, glass fiber thin mats, nor to glass fiber mats used for thermal insulation and soundproofing purposes.
