Scope
This part of GB 13539 applies to fuses equipped with enclosed current-limiting fuse elements with a rated breaking capacity of not less than 6 kA. This fuse is used to protect AC power circuits with a nominal voltage of not more than 1,000 V or DC circuits with a nominal voltage of not more than 1,500 V.
The subsequent parts of this standard include supplementary requirements for fuses used under special conditions.
The fuse elements used in IEC 609473 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 3: Switches, isolators, disconnecting switches and fuse-combination apparatuses" should also comply with the requirements of this part.
