Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for the dimensions, shape, weight, and allowable deviations of hot-rolled bars made from carbon bearing steel, as well as technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to hot-rolled bars with a diameter of 20 mm to 150 mm used in the manufacture of automotive wheel bearing units. Bars for other purposes can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
