Scope
This standard specifies the dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) physical parameters, link parameters, overall framework of transaction processes, detailed content and format encoding of each static data frame, as well as normal interaction timing for roadside equipment (RSE) and on-board equipment (OBE) in highway electronic tolling applications.
This standard is applicable to highway electronic tolling systems, and it can also be used as a reference in fields such as vehicle access management and urban road tolling.
