Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the test methods for the thermal stability of unused organic heat transfer fluids, including organic heat transfer fluids with a maximum operating temperature under normal pressure higher than their boiling point.
1.2 This standard does not evaluate the suitability of silicone-based heat transfer fluids.
