Scope

This document describes the method of determining the pilling performance of fabrics using the needle-brush roller method, and provides an evaluation of the pilling performance. This document is applicable to woven and knitted fabrics. However, it is not applicable to fabrics with a mesh structure, tufted fabrics, and non-woven fabrics.
