Scope

This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of benzotriazole and its derivatives-based metal passivating agents (N-2 (2-ethylhexyl) - aminomethyl - methyl benzotriazole (TTAA), benzotriazole (BTA), and 5-methyl benzotriazole (TTA)) in unused and operating mineral insulating oils. The measurement range of the concentration is 5 mg/kg to 500 mg/kg.
