Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of sampling for forestry biomass raw materials, general sampling principles, sampling tools and equipment, sampling techniques, and sample marking, packaging, and transportation.
This standard is applicable to the sampling of forestry biomass raw materials with a particle size not exceeding 200 mm. The preparation of general analysis samples for items such as the bulk density, mechanical strength, particle size distribution, moisture content, chemical composition, ash content, and purity of forestry biomass raw materials can also be used as a reference.
